Brain drain is a phenomenon where highly educated people seek higher pay and better quality of life outside their country, hindering economic growth and human resource development in countries like Italy, the Philippines, and New Zealand. In this article, our editor Lee Younghun explains the impact of brain drain on a country and suggests a solution by highlighting the example of the Silicon Valley of Vietnam.
